After signing current Leamington Flyer veteran forward, and former Blenheim Blade Darby Lemieux, the team traded three players to the Dresden Kings for goalie Owen Lemieux (no relation), Lemieux, from Chatham, AP’d for one game for the Blades in 2019-20 playing nine minutes and allowing no goals.
Going to Dresden are veteran forward Trent Amaro, rookie forward Adam Enwright, and the rights to former Blade Jeff Carey. So far this season Amaro has a goal and two assists in five games, while Enwright scored once and had one assist. The Blades and Kings face each other tonight in Dresden at 7:30.
The Blades are 3-3-0-0- on the season for six points and tied for fourth in the Stobbs Division, with Dresden having just one win so far and are tied for last with the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks.
