The Blenheim Blades have added a veteran Junior hockey player, and an ex-Blade as well, to their roster with the signing of Tilbury’s Darby Lemieux.
The 20-year-old forward played 10 games with the Blades in the 2019-20 season scoring two goals and adding two assists.
There was no 2020-21 season because of Covid, and last year with the Junior ‘B’ Leamington Flyers Lemieux scored seven goals and added 14 assists for 21 points in 40 games.
In 2018-19 he had four goals and one assist in 44 games with the Chatham Maroons.
