Blenheim Blades Announce Front Office Promotions
The Blenheim Blades organization has announced key promotions within its hockey operations staff, reinforcing its leadership group ahead of the upcoming season.
Team President Matthew Frain confirmed that Bob Price has been promoted from General Manager to Director of Hockey Operations and Governor. In his expanded role, Price will oversee all aspects of the club’s hockey strategy while continuing to play a central role in shaping the team’s long-term vision.
In addition, Lonnie Hamilton has been elevated from Assistant General Manager to Governor and Director of Player Personnel. Hamilton will take on increased responsibility in player recruitment, evaluation, and development as the organization continues to build a competitive roster.
“We are happy to promote both these outstanding people,” said Frain in the announcement. “Bob and Lonnie have shown tremendous dedication and leadership, and these roles reflect the confidence we have in their ability to help move our organization forward.”
Both promotions highlight the Blades’ commitment to stability and growth from within, as the team prepares for another season on and off the ice.
