Lots of goals in pair of Alumni Night games

The Blenheim Blades hosted their annual Alumni Night Saturday at
the Blenheim arena with a pair of alumni games and a Provincial
Junior Hockey League Stobbs Division contest won by the Blades 7-0
over the Dresden Kings.
In the 3 p.m. alumni game Team Gold beat Team Red 10-7 with John
Lynch and Colin Brown each scoring two goals for Team Gold, while
singles went to Ryan Paxton, Manley Jackson, Calvin Hartford, Aaron
Wilkins and Ryan Jones.
Kirk McKillop scored twice for Team Red, with one each went to
Nevin and Aidan Wiebinga, Thomas Innes, Mark Hare and Jeff Fancy.
The 4 p.m. game saw Team Gold defeat Team White 9-3 with Nolan
Vandenborn netting three tallies for Team Gold, Blair Derynk two and
Corbin Hagerman, Dede Cato, Klinton Kenny and Drew Marlatt one
each.
Seth Henderson, Ethan Paxton and Evan Minnie had the Team White
goals.
