Hockey Background:
Played Jr Hockey with the Chatham Maroons and St Thomas Stars before attending and playing hockey at SUNY Buffalo State. Followed by a quick professional stint in the SPHL and FHL.
I began coaching with the Chatham Maroons where I was Assistant Coach for 2 seasons. I then transitioned to Co-Coach of the CK Cyclones 06 team which lead to my current position as Head Coach of the Blenheim Blades.
Role As Head Coach:
My role as Head Coach is to prepare my staff and players the best that I can. I am the voice from management to players and players to management. Sometimes I have to make tough decisions, but at the end of the day the decisions made are what’s best for the team.
Goals for the Season:
Every season my personal goal is to develop these players as people first then players. On paper we are a young team, but we should be very exciting to watch game in and game out. I expect the young players to play a huge role in this years team success. Blenheim hasn’t made it to the finals in almost 30 years and I am hoping we can change that. It will not happen without hard work and commitment to the team from both our coaching staff and the players.
