Hockey Background
I played with Dresden Minor Hockey and the Dresden Jr Kings. I began coaching with Chatham Minor Hockey and Kent Minor Hockey and spent 15 years from Minor Peewee to Major Midget AA I’ve also had Jr C coaching experience with both Dresden and Wallaceburg and am into my 3rd season with the Blades.

Role with the Blades
My role as assistant coach is to provide help to Brett Hope our head coach in any way he needs me. From focusing on making sure our players understand our mission to what we are teaching them through practice and in game situations. Also giving input that may help in all situations we may come across as a team.

Goals
To provide community and give time to the future Blades that show up every Sunday. Even the little ones looking for that fist bump at the arena. Even though we have a young group here I think the Blades as a whole have a lot of great pieces and teachers to pave the way for our ultimate goal of a Championship
