The Blenheim Blades hope to get back on track tonight as they host the Mooretown Flags in Game 3 of the PJHL Stobbs Division quarterfinal.
Game time is 7 p.m. at The Rec Centre.
The Flags took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series with a 4-0 win at home on Monday.
Logan Gardner scored power-play goals in the first and third periods while Blake Howard and Brett Vince netted goals late in the second – Vince’s goal with one second left.
John Chartrand made 50 saves for the shutout including stopping Brad McAlpine’s penalty shot with 15 seconds left in the game.
Jake Vancoillie made 27 saves for the Blades.
The Flags won the series and opened 4-3 in double-overtime on Thursday in Blenheim.
Game 4 is in Mooretown on Wednesday with Game 5 back in Blenheim on Thursday at 7 p.m.
