Blades Add Another Cunningham to the Roster

Blades add another Cunningham to the roster

    Tuesday the Blenheim Blades filled an empty roster stop when they obtained 17-year-old forward Matt Cunningham from the Junior ‘B’ Sarnia Legionnaires.

     Matt is the younger brother of Blades captain Alex Cunningham. He was in both the Blades camp and the Legionnaires camp before the  season started and made the Sarnia roster.

    While with the Legionnaires he played in 33 games scoring three goals and adding an assist, with two of his tallies being game winners.

    Matt played seven regular season games with Blenheim last season as an AP and had four assists. He also played one playoff game.
