Blades acquire 2 Jr B defencemen

The 2022-23 Provincial Junior Hockey League Stobbs Division pre-season has started for the Blenheim Blades with the signing of two veteran Junior ‘B’
defencemen.Twenty-year-old Noah Prudhomme comes from the Leamington Flyers and  18-year-old Brad McAlpine from the St. Thomas Stars.

Prudhomme played in 48 regular season games for the Flyers last year scoring four goals and adding 12 assists. He started the season playing seven games with the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Cobourg Cougars.   In the 2020-21 season, he was a member of the San Diego Sabres of the USPL,
and played with the Amherstview Jets Junior ‘C’ team in 2019-20.

He was picked  51st overall by the Kitchener Rangers in the 2019-20 OHL draft.  McAlpine hails from Glencoe and played 44 regular and playoff games for the  Stars in 2021-22 scoring a goal and adding seven assists.

General manager Bob Price expects to announce more signings in the near future.
